With the focus on the packet core and its evolution, Crossbeam recently tested the performance of Crossbeam in 4G-LTE networks. The results show it is more important than ever to secure of the network, without impacting performance. The GPRS network is subject to attack from public vectors, such as DDos, trojans, viruses, and bots; the Roaming Partner interface is subject to spoofing attacks; and the HLR is subject to flooding attacks.
