作品運(yùn)用花絲鑲嵌和花絲燒藍(lán)工藝制成，孔雀羽翼雙展，體態(tài)輕盈，亦舞亦休，寓意雀舞太平、盛世合興之美意。其中孔雀羽毛采用花絲工藝精工制作，鍍金、燒藍(lán)與寶石鑲嵌點(diǎn)綴得恰到好處，愈顯色彩明艷綺麗。整體觀之，作品形象逼真靈動(dòng)，工藝精湛華美，工形神俱佳。
The artwork is made through the process of filigree inlaying and enamel-firing. The peacock, with a soft, well-rounded figure, spreads its wings and displays parallel feelings of dancing and reposing. The dancing peacock carries implied meaning of halcyon days with peace and prosperity. By means of filigree craft, feathers of the peacock based on exquisite workmanship are created, embellished with gold-plating, enamel-firing and gem-mounting to a nicety, which brings increasingly bright, beautiful and gorgeous colors. 作品設(shè)計(jì)靈感來源于我國(guó)造船史上的震撼之作——鄭和寶船，寓意深刻，盡顯莊重大氣。
船體雙面鏨刻以游龍、海浪等紋樣，氣勢(shì)磅礴。三層錯(cuò)落的屋閣與船帆主要運(yùn)用花絲工藝制作而成，而燒藍(lán)、寶石鑲嵌等工藝則使作品色彩更為豐富多樣。
The artwork takes its design inspiration from the remarkable treasure throughout the shipbuilding history of China–legendary fleet of Zheng He, displaying solemn and majestic atmosphere completely, with a profound moral. The ship is engraved with double-faced patterns including wandering dragons, ocean waves and so on, endowed with great momentum. The unevenly three-layered attic and sail are mainly fabricated by filigree craft, while other techniques such as enamel-firing and gem-mounting bring more diverse colors to the artwork.

作品造型源于傳統(tǒng)的竹編果籃，其上披一條柔軟絲巾。整個(gè)果盤由一整塊銀板純手工鏨刻而成，盤體竹編紋惟妙惟肖，竹籃的藤條肌理幾可亂真。絲巾絲絨形象逼真，其上裝飾寶相花、卷草紋圖案，寓意富貴吉祥、福運(yùn)延綿。
The shape of the artwork originates from the traditional bamboo-woven fruit basket, on which a soft scarf wraps. The whole fruit plate is carved from a whole piece of silver plate, all handmade. The stripes of the woven bamboo around the plate body are absolutely lifelike, with cane textures of the bamboo basket almost indistinguishable from the original. Velvet of the scarf delivers a lifelike image, coupled with decorative patterns like Baoxiang flower (designs of composite flowers with priority given to lotus or peony) and scroll designs (a traditional Chinese pattern with the aid of flowers and plants that look rolled and full), which embody wealth and auspiciousness, and everlasting happiness and fortune.
