Roughly half of the coal consumed in China is burnt in the power sector, producing 72% of the country’s electricity (2013) and making it the largest single source of carbon emissions in China. The power sector has been growing rapidly. Wind and solar are big part of this growth. China is now a global leader in renewable energy, accounting for more installed onshore wind and solar PV capacity than any country in the world. But coal-fired capacity also continues to grow rapidly.

中國(guó)近一半的煤炭消費(fèi)來自電力行業(yè)，煤電占全國(guó)總發(fā)電量的72%（2013年數(shù)據(jù)），是中國(guó)最大的碳排放源。中國(guó)的發(fā)電裝機(jī)一直保持快速增長(zhǎng)，風(fēng)電和太陽能發(fā)電已經(jīng)成為新增裝機(jī)容量的重要組成部分。中國(guó)目前是世界可再生能源發(fā)電領(lǐng)域的領(lǐng)軍者，陸上風(fēng)電和太陽能光伏發(fā)電的裝機(jī)容量超過了世界上任何一個(gè)國(guó)家。但中國(guó)的燃煤發(fā)電裝機(jī)容量也在持續(xù)快速增長(zhǎng)。

Clean Power Program priorities focus on three broad major categories to achieve the goals above:  1) to reduce coal consumption in power sector through power system efficiency improvement and use of clean energy sources. 2) to reform the power sector to favor clean energy resources and 3) to increase Investment in renewables and end-use efficiency.

為實(shí)現(xiàn)上述目標(biāo)，清潔電力項(xiàng)目將工作重點(diǎn)放在以下三方面：1）通過提高電力系統(tǒng)效率和使用清潔能源，減少電力行業(yè)的煤炭消費(fèi)；2）支持電力改革，建立有利于清潔能源發(fā)展的體制框架；以及3）推動(dòng)社會(huì)增加對(duì)可再生能源和終端能效的投資。
