Xi’an XD Switchgear Electric Co., Ltd. At present, the Company has RMB1.339 billion of registered capital, an operation area of 280,000 m² and 2,903 staff on the payroll. The Company’s operating income in 2010 reached RMB3.005 billion.

As a bellwether of China’s high voltage switch industry, XD Switchgear Electric shoulders the responsibility of advancing China’s power transmission and distribution equipment technologies and providing key equipment for China’s major engineering projects. Over the past 5 decades, China’s national energy and equipment strategy has facilitated the Company’s growth. The Company has participated in almost all domestic key power transmission and distribution projects since the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, including China’s first 330kV, 550kV, 750kV and 1000kV extra-high (ultra-high) voltage AC power transmission lines, the Three Gorges Project, the West-to-East Power Transmission Project and other key national projects.
