Mr. Ford, in turn, appealed the authority’s decision soon afterwards, the spokesman said. In an interview, Mr. Ford stated that the government should not have put his company into receivership. “They are trying to make a show of authority,” he said. He also added that the funds he transferred out of Keydata were fees legitimately owed to the entities his family controlled.
