In the past 2-3 years, XX has been diving into Shenzhen’s ELV promotion progress with vehicles telematic data analysis and local stakeholder interviews. Major takeaways from the Shenzhen work include key factors that could increase cities’ ELV utilization, charging infrastructure mapping optimization, market and technology preparation, and policies that could effectively support cities adoption of ELVs. Such understandings on Shenzhen’s experiences could serve as good starting points for cities in early stage of ELV promotions.
